•The Fort Aguada (NI)
Adorning the western coastline of India rests a Portuguese stronghold known as The Fort Aguada. Built in the 17th century, this fortress is popular as one of the top historical tourist attractions in Goa. The Fort Aguada rests on the mouth of Mandovi River and sprawls along the Sinquerim Beach, facing the Arabian Sea. Hence it is also one of the best spots for sightseeing in Goa, where visitors can view an impressive fort against a stunning coastal backdrop.
